Marc Sasserath becomes Executive Chairman

Berlin/Hamburg, May 24, 2016 – Jessica Peppel-Schulz, CEO of UDG United Digital Group, brings Marc Sasserath on board to take up the newly created position of Executive Chairman of UDG United Digital Group. As part of this, UDG United Digital Group, one of the leading digital agencies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and Sasserath Munzinger Plus, the internationally renowned brand consultancy, have agreed a strategic alliance.


“Marc Sasserath has been a member of our Advisory Board since 2015. Yet, we quickly realised that this wouldn’t be enough. It is fantastic that, in addition to his position on the Board, Marc will now share his expertise in operational matters with us as Executive Chairman. His expertise as a brand strategist and organisational developer and, last but not least, as an entrepreneur will help UDG take another step forward and reinforce our leading role in the market. About Marc Sasserath

Marc Sasserath is CEO and founding partner of the brand consultancy Sasserath Munzinger Plus, which has offices in Berlin and Milan. The internationally renowned brand strategist founded his first company in 2001: Sasserath Publicis, a joint venture with Publicis. Before that, Sasserath had already made a name for himself in the agency world as Head of Strategy at BBDO and by turning around McCann. In the last 25 years, he has created, positioned and reworked brands, developed brand architectures in complex branding portfolios and made transformations through branding.


In addition to that, the HEC and INSEAD graduate worked in the digital start-up arena as an enterprise accelerator and is, amongst other things, partner of / mentor to hub:raum, Axel Springer Plug & Play and GTEC. In 2014, also in this context, together with other entrepreneurs from the ESCP business school, he founded the Entrepreneurs school, which trains entrepreneurs in Berlin and Paris.
